Who we are

Arc Home Services is a small, owner-run home maintenance business based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Arc Home Services. You can reach us at (843) 633-3570.

What we collect

• When you join the waitlist: your name, email address, phone number and home ZIP code. We also record which ad or link brought you to the page.
• When you become a member: your home address, access instructions, any notes about your home, and your visit history.
• Photos: we take photos during visits to document the work and any issues we find, and we include them in your photo report.
• Payments: when we begin taking payments, they are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Website activity: basic information about how visitors use our pages, collected through the tools listed below.

How we use it

• To contact you about the waitlist, booking and your visits.
• To schedule and carry out visits, send your photo report, and keep a record of your home.
• To bill you and manage your membership.
• To understand which of our ads and pages work, so we can improve them.
• To meet legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we use to run the business, and only as needed for them to do their job:

• Web3Forms processes the waitlist form and sends us your sign-up.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and may log technical information such as IP address and browser type.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) provides the advertising measurement tool described below.
• Stripe processes payments, once we begin accepting them.
• Email, calendar and scheduling tools we use to communicate with you.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Cookies and advertising tools

This site uses the Meta Pixel. It uses cookies and similar technology to tell Meta when someone visits our pages or joins the waitlist, so we can measure our ads and show them to relevant people. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you from joining the waitlist.

Photos taken in your home

We take photos only of the areas we work on, to show what we did and what we found. We try to keep people and personal items out of the frame. Your photos are stored with your member records, are shared with you in your report, and are not published or used in our marketing without your written permission.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist information until we have contacted you about your area and for a reasonable time after. We keep member records and photos while you are a member and for as long afterward as we need them for service history, tax and legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by calling (843) 633-3570. If you get a marketing message from us, you can reply to opt out.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as using reputable providers and limiting who can see it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our services and website are meant for adult homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
